M.Alp Erdem

Dr. Mehmet Alp Erdem was born in 1997 in Istanbul. He completed his high school education at Şişli Terakki Science High School. In 2021, he graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at Okan University. Following his graduation, he began working as a dentist at the family practice, Private Dental Center Poly Clinic. After gaining a year of experience in the clinic, he decided to pursue a PhD in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. In 2022, he started his doctoral studies at Yeditepe University, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. During his PhD program, he received extensive training in impacted tooth extractions, dental implant applications, sinus lift procedures, jaw cyst and tumor operations, pre-prosthetic surgeries, periodontal surgery, and surgical treatment of jaw fractures. In 2025, he was appointed as a chief assistant in the Surgical Department at Yeditepe University. Throughout his education, he has actively participated in national and international congresses and symposiums, staying up to date with the latest developments in his field. Since 2022, as a partner in the family-run clinics, he has been providing services especially in surgical procedures and implantology—his area of specialization. At the Private Dental Center Poly Clinic, he also serves as the Responsible Manager, overseeing the administrative duties of the clinic while ensuring comprehensive care is delivered across all branches of dentistry.
